Board Membership Election
December 10, 2009 results

Board members represent both current Iowa City dog parks and are dedicated to opening additional off leash parks. The parks they most often take their dogs to are listed in parentheses. The New Board and officers are:

• Liz Dodge (Thornberry) Co-Secretary
• Diane Downing (Thornberry) Liaison to IC Animal Center
• Andy Dudler (Thornberry) Co-President & Co-Treasurer/Liaison to City
• Kim Kirchner (Rita's Ranch) Liaison to IC Animal Center
• Teresa Ruggle (Thornberry) Co-Treasurer
• Karla Tonella (Thornberry) begins her second year on the board. Vice President & Co-Secretary
• Lisa Allen (Thornberry) Co-President/Liaison to City

Lydia Fine, from North Liberty would have made a Great board member but upon reflection decided that she had to use her available energy, time and skills to continue her quest for an off leash dog park in North Liberty. Hopefully we will be working in partnership with her before long!

Lisa Allen requested reinstatement to the board. Her reinstatement was unanimously approved at an officer election meeting December 17.
