EGGStravaganza Is a Tail-Waggin' Success

JC DogPAC and WOOFABLES, The Gourmet Dog Bakery are pleased to report that the 1st Annual EGGStravaganza was wildly successful! Thanks to all you pooches and people who came to City Park on Sunday afternoon. Over 225 dogs and their families showed up to hunt for yummy canine treats which were generously provided by WOOFABLES. Some dogs dressed up in their Spring finery, others performed their favorite tricks for an adoring crowd, and everyone had a wonderful time. View photos from the Egg Hunt. Thanks to your generosity, the event raised over $2500, which JC DogPAC will put directly to building an off-leash dog park. Our first area dog park is now even closer to realization!

JC DogPAC thanks the sponsors, the volunteers, and all the dogs and people who came out on a lovely spring day to support this cause. Be sure to stop in at WOOFABLES to thank Lara and Kathleen for their generosity in baking and donating all those (3000) goodies!

Date: Sunday, April 10th; rain date April 17th.

Time: 2 to 4 p.m.

Place: Lower City Park, Shelter 5

What is it: An egg hunt!! WOOFABLES, The Gourmet Dog Bakery is providing 3000 dog treat "eggs." Dogs on leash will be able to hunt for eggs and keep what they find.

Who: All dogs, large and small with proof of current rabies vaccination or current city/county license. Dogs must be on leash for the entire event. (Well-behaved humans are also encouraged to join us!)

Admission: Suggested donation of $10 or more per dog. All proceeds go to establishing the off-leash park in Iowa City. You can pre-register at WOOFABLES, The Gourmet Dog Bakery in Coralville or you can register at the event.
